Information Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Role
Are you the person everyone calls when something “looks suspicious”? We’re looking for an experienced Information Security Engineer who takes ownership of security operations and helps us continuously strengthen and scale our security landscape. This is a high-impact role with real responsibility across incident response, tooling, governance, and cross-functional collaboration. 

Your role in detail: 
  • Own and lead the security and incident processes. Including investigation, root cause analysis, and mitigation.
  • Design, implement, and maintain our security stack (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.) and drive the development of our SOC environment.
  • Establish and manage vulnerability monitoring, threat hunting, and proactive breach detection processes.
  • Translate security policies into effective technical controls and regularly review their implementation across teams.
  • Act as an escalation point for access management, support audits (e.g.ISO 27001), and collaborate closely with IT, Development, and our internal audit and governance team.
What You Bring
  • At least 3 years of strong, hands-on experience in Security Operations (SecOps) and incident management. Ideally in a Fintech or RegTech company.
  • Solid technical background with practical experience in SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, and endpoint security.
  • Proven experience working with ISO 27001 (DORA knowledge is a plus).
  • Experience with identity and access management solutions (e.g.JumpCloud, Okta) and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Structured, proactive working style with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • German and English skills at least on B2 level
